A connoisseur of fine art who is looking for a representation of sensory-emotional perception of reality in paintings will find it in the works of one of the brightest young artists of St. Petersburg - Vladimir Ruslanovich Yezhakov. The master managed to achieve the individuality of his visual language thanks to a serious academic education, which became the basis for further professional growth. After studying at the N.K. Roerich Art College with the Honored Artist of Russia B. V. Lesova, Yezhakov in 2003 graduated from the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin from the People's Artists of Russia V.V. Pimenov and N.N. Repin.
Vladimir Yezhakov is primarily a painter. It is the juiciness of color, which masterfully and boldly pours out from the plane of his paintings, that forms the core of artistic images, which are based on genuine admiration for the beauty of the surrounding world. Having grasped the basics of academic drawing, the master freely sculpts the form with expressive colorful strokes, thickens and develops the texture, filling the canvas with pulsating rhythms of life. In his works, the image of the spring sun and summer heat prevails - the artist shows nature at the moment when it is filled with vital vibration and movement. Hence his love for the image of dance as a direct manifestation of the dynamics of life. The master's ability to convey his delight from moments of beauty that are sometimes unnoticed in the everyday bustle is valuable, whether it is the shine of fruits in the sun, the humidity of the warm surface of the pond or the graceful movement of a fragile female figure. Therefore, the genre diversity of his works is quite wide: from works on a historical theme, where the main thing is the personal perception of the spirit of a bygone era, everyday scenes and landscapes, to artistically painted portraits and still lifes. Separately, it is worth highlighting the portrait painting of the master. Thoughtful immersion in the psycho-emotional state of the depicted person does not allow the artist to remain a bystander, forcing the viewer to experience with him both the thrill of contact with the innermost corners of the soul of the model, and the joy of the harmony of visual forms that form all living things.
Vladimir Yezhakov has been a member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 2004 and a regular participant in numerous art exhibitions and festivals both in Russia and abroad.
