On February 16, 2019 at 15.00, the personal exhibition of Andrei Lvovich Selenin was opened in the Gallery of Painting of the 20th Century. Member of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists since 2009. The artist was born on November 2, 1973 in the city of Volgograd. In 1996 he graduated from the Crimean Art College. N. S. Samokish in the city of Simferopol, where he studied in the workshop of N. S. Morgun. In 2002 he graduated from the St. Petersburg State Academic Institute. I.E. Repin (teachers: V.I. Reykhet, V.V. Pimenov, N.N. Repin, N.S. Lysak, N.D. Blokhin). Currently lives and works in St. Petersburg. Selenin is a master of plein air landscape, still life and genre painting, whose work harmoniously combines the use of a bold textured brushstroke and subtle coloristic flair.
